POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Texas Roadhouse will be opening a new location in the town of Poughkeepsie next month, according to the Western-themed chain restaurant’s website.
The restaurant will be located at 2323 South Road. Its website put the opening sometime in October and promised that the hours would be posted as soon as the exact date is known.
Its brand? “Legendary Food, Legendary Service.”
A quick peek at its menu shows it features hand-cut steaks, ribs, pork chops, catfish and barbecued chicken as well as freshly baked bread and a “Texas-sized” fried onion it calls a “cactus blossom.”
There is a kids’ menu as well with the standard hot dogs, mac and cheese and chicken fingers.
The service and/or fun part comes in with its line dancers, jukebox and friendly wait staff, it says.
