Special Needs Children Can Meet Easter Bunny In Poughkeepsie

Special needs children will have a chance to have their pictures taken with the Easter bunny and receive a gift as well during a special event Saturday, April 15, at Upper Landing Park in Poughkeepsie.

The event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., will offer parents or caregivers a chance to snap their own photos of their children with the Easter Bunny during the event. A professional photographer will not be on hand.

The event is open to people of all ages.

Sponsored by the Dutchess County Government, Walkway Over the Hudson, CWA Local 1120, New Horizons and HRH Care Community Health, the event is part of the county's ThinkDifferently campaign.

The park is located at 83 N. Water St., Poughkeepsie.
