City police reported no problems, although downtown traffic was detoured due to the shoot, which attracted many curious onlookers.

Locals were rooting for Team #4, "Distinctly Dutchess," comprised of Rob Doyle and Rich Brownell -- competing in a 2016 Ford Explorer.

It’s Fireball Run's 10th Anniversary. The 26-week competition began in Hartford, Conn.

A total of 40 rally teams compete in a 2,000 mile, eight city, eight-day life size trivia game, which is also America’s largest active recovery effort for missing children. Each team is assigned a child missing from their home area, they are given 1,000 missing child fliers to distribute throughout the 2,000 mile journey. Over the past 10 years, these efforts have resulted in locating 44 missing children.

The teams also competed Wednesday in Beacon.

On Thursday, roads surrounding City Hall were closed for about three hours, so crews could film the starting line of the Fireball Run's latest leg.
