Gino's Pizza In Poughkeepsie Makes DVlicious Finalist List

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- We get it. You like to eat. And you like to eat out. But dining with kids, especially young ones -- can sometimes get sticky -- in more ways than one. Kudos to the places that offer up pleasing menus for both adults and kids as well as surroundings that don’t feel like you’re dining at Mickey D’s.

Gino’s Pizza & Restaurant, Poughkeepsie

Why It's Kid Worthy: Gino’s, which recently opened another location in Red Oaks Mill, has been a family owned business since 1970. Kids love their pizza and fried calzones, made the throwback way. If there’s any room after the chicken parm wedge, baked pasta or pizza with crazy toppings like mac ‘n’ cheese, pineapple or General Tso’s chicken, they can order desserts such as Chocolate Lovin’ Spoon Cake and Reese’s Peanut Butter Pie.
