EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. - East Fishkill residents celebrated the Fourth of July Sunday, with huge crowds turning out at the East Fishkill Rec. for an afternoon of food and music, highlighted by an evening fireworks display over the park.

Ballfields were filled with kids and adults playing, the playground was packed with happy kids, and families and friends relaxed with picnic baskets and blankets on the lawns while waiting for the fireworks.

For the 28th consecutive year, popular oldies band Adam and the Newhearts returned to entertain a large and appreciative crowd at the park pavilion.
