"Drop Off at the Drive-In," held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Hyde Park Drive-In, will include a variety of kids activities, as well as a chance to learn how to help keep the planet healthy.
“We are committed to protecting our natural resources and preserving our environment today and for future generations. Each of us can make choices that improve our quality of life and protect our planet," said Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro.
In addition to electronic items, the free event also offers residents a chance to have two boxes of items shredded, donate cell phones to benefit victims of domestic violence and to purchase rain barrels and compost bins.
There will also be a donation box for eyeglasses that will be donated to the LaGrange Lions Club and a medication drop box.
