Poughkeepsie Schedules First Friday Event

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The City of Poughkeepsie will celebrate its third First Friday event with a concert by Poughekeepie's own R&B/Soul group, BaseCamp, Friday evening, June 3, on the lawn of City Hall.

R&B/Soul group BaseCamp will perform at the First Friday event, which starts at 5 p.m.

The rain location for the event is Changepoint Church, 260 Mill St, Poughkeepsie.

In addition to the concert, the event will feature a free photo booth and other fun attractions. Guests should bring folding chairs and/or blankets if they'd like to sit on the lawn.

Poughkeepsie Plenty Fresh Market (a mobile market selling low cost fresh, local veggies and fruit) will launch its season in the parking lot at City Hall on the day of the event.

The event will be from 5 - 8 p.m.

Poughkeepsie City Hall is at 62 Civic Center Plaza, Poughkeepsie.
