Poughkeepsie Hosts Community Cleanup

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Join friends and neighbors to spruce up Murphy Park, the Middle Main neighborhood, and the Fall Kill Creek at a community clean up on April 16 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Volunteers will assist in collecting garbage, raking, and light gardening. All supplies will be provided and all ages are welcome. This event will take place rain or shine. This event is part of the Poughkeepsie Earth Day Celebration. For more information and a complete list of activities visit the Facebook page for Poughkeepsie Earth Day. The event will begin at 517 Main St., at the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory.
