Fishkill Wine Shop To Donate 10% Of Grand Opening Proceeds To Charity

FISHKILL, N.Y. -- A Fishkill liquor store is donating 10 percent of its sales to charity at its grand opening this Saturday.

Popular Wines & Spirits will be raising money for charity at the grand opening of its Fishkill store this weekend.

Popular Wines & Spirits said the money will go to support Autism Speaks, an advocacy group that sponsors research on the mental condition, and the American Cancer Society.

The shop, located in the Fishkill Plaza on Route 9, said it is also offering 10 percent discounts on certain items on opening day.

A wine tasting will be held from 12 noon to 6 p.m.
