According to a statement and series of photographs posted to the county's Facebook page, the walk crossed over the Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park between Poughkeepsie and Highland.

The Dutchess County team, which consisted of dozens of county workers led by longtime county employee Beth Wright, was among the top fundraisers, officials said.

The county team, and others walking at the event to raise awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, were joined by the ALS Association's Greater New York chapter.
