Dutchess Hosts Annual Tourism Rally, Awards Of Distinction

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Celebrate the 33rd Annual National Travel and Tourism Week at the Dutchess Tourism Rally and Annual Awards of Distinction. 

The New York State Travel Industry Association recently recognized Dutchess Tourism for excellence.

On Thursday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to noon, there will be a free brochure exchange in the parking lot of The Grandview in Poughkeepsie. 

This event will include the following: 

  • Press conference to highlight tourism's economic impact
  • Updates on key events coming to Dutchess County in 2016 and how you can take advantage
  • Brochure exchange with other tourism businesses from Dutchess County. 

Bring a minimum of 200 brochures to share. Stick around for the second anniversary Luncheon at noon and the announcement of the winners of the Dutchess Tourism Awards of Distinction. Tickets are $50 and sponsorships are available. For more information, visit their website
