SOUTHWEST DUTCHESS, N.Y. -- County Executive Marc Molinaro joined hundreds of men, women and children for the Family Services' Walk A Mile in Her Shoes event this past weekend at All Sport Fishkill.

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is the International’s Men’s March to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence. Men literally walk a mile in women’s high-heeled shoes in an effort to raise awareness about gender relations and men’s sexualized violence against women.

The group was formed in 2007 as a way to raise money to help local rape crisis centers, domestic violence shelters and for domestic violence education and prevention. To learn more, go to: http://www.walkamileinhershoes.org/ .
