“What better way to celebrate the arrival of spring than with a traditional pancake breakfast at our own Bowdoin Park," said County Executive Marc Molinaro. "Our Pancake Breakfast is fun for the entire family to enjoy. Come out and celebrate the warm weather and sample maple syrup made at one of Dutchess County’s great parks!”
Dutchess County Parks recently won "The Best Tasting Maple Syrup in the Hudson Valley" honors during the Fresh Air Fund’s 13th annual Sugar Maple Celebration. The winning syrup was produced at Bowdoin Park.
The award-winning maple syrup will be available for purchase at the breakfast.
Admission is $5 per person. There is no charge for children 6 and under.
The breakfast runs from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
“Dutchess County Parks offer a variety of fun and educational programs and events throughout the year," said County Legislator Will Truitt. "The annual Pancake Breakfast provides residents of all ages with the opportunity to visit Dutchess County’s award-winning Bowdoin Park and partake in a delicious meal using locally made syrup. Breakfast attendees are encouraged to explore the many offerings at Bowdoin Park including various hiking trails, playground equipment, and picturesque views."
