Phillippa Ewing is an award-winning copywriter, and creative director, now working as marketing and content strategist with Ashworth Creative, a full stack, digital and traditional ad agency in Poughkeepsie, NY, serving clients in the Hudson Valley and Metro NY/NJ/CT marketplaces. Although she is now an American citizen, Phillippa is British by birth and by accent and was creative director of McKay and Partners in London and has worked internationally for McCann-Erickson and Ogilvy & Mather. She has created campaigns for such clients as Avon Products, The Tate Gallery, Martini & Rossi Vermouths and the British Cheese Board. In North America, she created an award-winning campaign of 17 commercials for Loblaws Supermarkets (Canada) and awareness campaigns for The Body Shop Canada to end violence against women and child poverty, winning awards from Canadian Parliament and the United Nations. Her campaigns in the US for Blue Cross/Blue Shield Rhode Island, Etonic Shoes and New England Brown Eggs have won numerous awards. She has a penchant for fundraising and development and served as Director of Development and Marketing at the Eleanor Roosevelt Center at Val-Kill, in addition to creating campaigns that raised more than $4.6 million for Williams College. Phillippa has served as project director of Historic Hyde Park and as Director Communications for the Franklin & Eleanor Roosevelt Institute.
