TD Banks in Poughkeepsie To Merge

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- TD Bank has confirmed two of its branches in Poughkeepsie will be merging, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Officials at TD Bank have said the Market Street bank branch will merge with the Main Street branch.

According to the report, the bank branch at 21 Market St. will close Jan. 29. It will merge operations with the branch at 703 Main St.

The report cites a bank executive, who offered a host of reasons for the merger, including traffic patterns and transaction volumes.
