POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Four major restaurant chains have announced plans to open their first Dutchess County locations in Poughkeepsie, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Scheduled to open this year are Golden Corral, Tilted Kilt, Texas Roadhouse and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. Golden Corral is looking at a late summer target to open, with Tilted Kilt and Texas Roadhouse following in the fall. Popeyes has no specific date but is scheduled for 2016, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Three of the four offerings will be along Route 9 with the outlier, Popeyes, slated for the eastbound arterial, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.
