Hudson Valley KidVenture Coming To Poughkeepsie Next Spring

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Adventurous young residents and their families in the Mid-Hudson region should mark their calendars for Hudson Valley KidVenture, which will come to downtown Poughkeepsie on May 20 and 21 of next year.

“We are very excited about everything we are planning,” said Nicholas Shannon, executive director of The Chamber Foundation, Inc. “KidVenture is going to be an incredible event that will include a full weekend of interactive activities, performances, demonstrations and hands-on learning and experiences for kids of all ages.”

Centered in downtown Poughkeepsie in the area of the Mid-Hudson Civic Center, the Change Point Theatre and Market Street, the Hudson Valley KidVenture will feature live music, entertainment, food trucks and more. 

The event's presenting sponsors are IBM and Westchester Medical Center Health Network, the gold sponsor is the Poughkeepsie Galleria and media sponsors include Q92 and iHeart Media, Pamal Broadcasting, and Poughkeepsie Journal Media. KidVenture weekend is a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to get in front of the community.
