Golden Corral To Break Ground On New Poughkeepsie Restaurant

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Ground is about to be broken for a new restaurant in Poughkeepsie, according to a report by The Poughkeepsie Journal.

Golden Corral, a buffet-style American restaurant, is getting set to break ground in Poughkeepsie. The new eatery is expected to create 125 jobs and be open by the late summer.

Golden Corral, a buffet-style chain, will start building the eatery on Route 9 this Friday, The Poughkeepsie Journal reported.

Expected to create 125 jobs in the area, the restaurant is set to open in the late-summer, The Poughkeepsie Journal story said.

According to The Poughkeepsie Journal report, other chains that have opened, or will open this year, in the area include: Hardee’s (burgers); Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, (fried chicken), and Texas Roadhouse (steak).
